NSW (NON-DECLARED) AFFILIATED HEALTH ORGANISATIONS’ STAFF SPECIALIST AGREEMENT 2021 (PDF)

 

The NAMED NSW (NON-DECLARED) AFFILIATED HEALTH ORGANISATIONS’ Hospital Scientists Agreement.

The Fair Work Commission approved the NAMED NSW (NON-DECLARED) AFFILIATED HEALTH ORGANISATIONS’ Hospital Scientists Agreement (the Agreement) on 8 May 2020 and in accordance with s54 of the Act, will operate from 15 May 2020.

This was a multi-enterprise agreement entered into by the following:

  • St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney Limited T/A St Vincent’s Hospital.
  • Calvary Health Care (Newcastle) Limited T/A Calvary Mater Newcastle.

Application by Organisation (HSA) for Cancellation of Registration.

The Health Services Association of New South Wales (HSA) is an organisation registered under the Fair Work (Registered Organisations) Act 2009 (RO Act). Its objects include “to preserve, promote and represent the interests of public health service providers and public health service employers who are Members of the Association”

On 23 December 2019, the HSA made an application to the Fair Work Commission (FWC) for the cancellation of its registration.

On 15 April 2020, Deputy President Saunders conducted a Hearing, by telephone, in relation to the Application.

The outcome of the Hearing was that Deputy President Saunders considered it appropriate that the Registration of the HSA be cancelled under s30(a)(a) of the RO Act.

On 16 April 2020 Deputy President Sanders made an order that the registration of the Health Services Association of New South Wales is cancelled with effect on and from 23 April 2020.
